Fiberbinder® binds fibers from asbestos, mineral wool and other harmful dust, ensuring a healthier working environment for craftsmen.

Fiberbinder® is a company that creates safer working environments, and it is our mission to minimize the risk of inhaling and dispersing health-hazardous fibers from asbestos and mineral wool as well as other forms of historical dust.

Fiberbinder® can be used in the following situations:

For binding asbestos fibers that cannot be vacuumed away, as described in the Danish Working Environment Authority’s cleaning guideline related to asbestos work.

For wetting asbestos fibers at the source (before the dismantling and disposal of materials such as roofing sheets, asbestos cement slates, asbestos-contaminated mineral wool, and other asbestos-contaminated building materials).

In situations where there is no asbestos. To improve the working environment by fixating dust, mineral wool fibers and other harmful particles.

Too many craftsmen and inspectors are still exposed to health-hazardous fibres and if changes are not made this will lead to illness and deaths for many years to come.

The FiberbinderMethod® is a new Danish solution which binds fibers and limits the risk of inhalation and dispersion. The FiberbinderMethod® can be performed by everyone, it has many areas of application,
and it is used today by both demolishers, contractors, and individuals who have a desire to improve the working environment and limit the risk of the spread of fibers harmful to health.

Advantages with Fiberbinder®

Significant Improvement of the Working Environment

Fiberbinder® minimizes the risk of craftsmen inhaling fibers from asbestos, mineral wool, and other health-hazardous dust, thereby ensuring a healthier working environment.

Reduces the number of fibers in the air by up to 97%

Fiberbinder® has been thoroughly tested both in practice and in laboratory experiments. Fiberbinder® fixates fibers in cracks and crevices, preventing them from being stirred up afterward, and its effectiveness is well-documented.

Used to comply with the Danish Working Environment Authority's cleaning guidelines.

The Danish Working Environment Authority requires employers to ensure that work and movement in asbestos-contaminated areas can occur without exposure to asbestos dust, for example, by binding the asbestos fibers on the surface.

A dust binder that does not dry or harden

Fiberbinder® has a lasting adhesiveness that is not bothersome for the craftsmen, and its ability to bind fibers lasts for at least 12 months after application.

Does not damage the wooden structure.

Fiberbinder® is not a sealant that encapsulates the fibers along with the structure. Instead, Fiberbinder® is a water-soluble liquid that allows the structure to breathe.

No harmful substances

Fiberbinder® contains no health-hazardous, environmentally problematic, or labeling-required ingredients. The product contains no solvents and has no MAL code or VOCs.

Easy to use

Fiberbinder® is delivered ready to use and can be applied quickly and easily with a battery-powered backpack sprayer. With color pigments, it is easy for subsequent craftsmen to see that the fibers have been bound.

Can be stored and applied down to -10 to -15 degrees C°

Fiberbinder® can be stored and applied in sub-zero temperatures, so even during winter and frosty weather, Fiberbinder® does not delay the construction process.

Economically advantageous solution

Fiberbinder® is a cost-effective solution to a significant workplace safety challenge. Fiberbinder® ensures compliance with both the timeline and project budget.
